1983 Mainship 34 Mark III

Pocasset, Massachusetts

$40,000

LARK is a great  example of this popular cruiser.  The previous  owners completed the “Great Loop” with her - traveling from June 2018 to June 2019 -  They  made many improvements to the boat during this time - including new battery bank and batteries, new electronics, new inverter, new charging system, new solar charge controller, new v-berth cushions and more.  The current owner has used the boat lightly.  Upgrades include new Teak and Holly sole without and an upgraded solar charging system.

This Mainship 34-3 one of the most popular small cruisers ever built. She was constructed on a solid fiberglass semi-displacement hull design with a fine bow entry and a full-length keel below. Third of the Mainship series, the appeal of the 34-3 had much to do with her trawler-style profile and affordable price tag, and her greatest attraction remains her superb economy at better than trawler speeds. With a single 165-hp Perkins diesel, the Mainship‘s easily driven hull will cruise at 7 knots burning around 2 gph. The practical single-stateroom floorplan is well suited to the needs of a cruising couple. The galley is large enough for serious food preparation; and a stall shower is included in the head. Outside, the flybridge extends aft to provide weather protection for the cockpit. This low maintenance cruiser mean more time on the water.
